2011 was the Year of the Protester, according to Time Magazine. The insurgency targeting the ruling political elites in Tunisia, and then in Egypt, Libya, Syria, Yemen and Bahrain, has not been confined to the Middle East. Protests have taken place in Spain, Greece, Italy, France, Britain and Israel. And most importantly the United States with  the Occupy Wall Street movement when protesters began demonstrating first in New York, and then in Washington, Chicago, and then in 1700 other cities across the nation. As we approach Uranus-Pluto alignment next year, the old order will start fighting back to protect the status quo and begin stalling the pressure for change and reform. One way the elite will attempt to retain power will be through the manipulation of the  2012 presidential election through increased funding of the election campaign to BOTH major parties by the finanical elite such as Wall Street and the financial industry, along with corporate America,  that pre-dominate the legislative and policy-making process of the nation, ensuring the current political-economic order continues to prevail. As domestic turmoil proliferates, state governments will launch law-and-order campaigns to crack down on legitimate protest. As the “Loss of Liberty” trend continues the Occupy Wall Street protest movement along with other groups will grow in strength and in numbers and begin to innovate, coming up with new ideas and methods to coerce major structural changes in the political economic system.
